My family and I just spent a wonderful week in this charming Cretan village house. The location was perfect - we could easily walk to the nearby Balos beach, Platanos taverna, and Falasarna ruins. The house itself was lovely, with stunning views from the balconies and a cozy, traditional atmosphere. A beautiful house in a traditional Cretan village in an excellent location, close to Balos, Platanos (our favorite restaurant in Crete - Motakis and a good bakery) and Falasarna. Wonderful views from the windows and balconies. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and comfortable mattresses. The house has a washing machine and two bathrooms, ensuring comfort for up to 4 people. A very nice patio in the front of the house with grapes, giving the sense of a quiet enclave. Many friendly cats eager to be petted. The owner, Manolis, is very kind and helpful. He prepared fruits, drinks, and something to eat for us at the house. You can use the hotel's pool in Kissamos.
